Find your way into your writing process

The 14-Day Poetry Challenge is an online, semi-synchronous course, from Monday June 2nd to Sunday June 15th, 2025. Write poems and participate in discussions at any time of the day over the course of the fourteen days.

  • For all writers from beginner scribes to seasoned wordsmiths
  • Jump start your writing practice and poetry production process
  • Engage in play with form and content
  • Let the production of poems every day expand your creative horizons
  • Get the help and support you need to make your desire to produce poems a reality
  • Use the momentum created in this course to support an ongoing, fulfilling writing practice
  • Receive feedback on a selection of your poems (optional; included at no extra cost)

You will be provided with daily prompts and strategies for the creation of new poems, but you, as the writer, are free to utilise the prompts and check-ins in whatever way serves you and your creative practice best.

Testimonials for the course & instructor

Hannah exposed me to new ways to write poems and new ways to look at my poem-writing habits in this challenge. Her careful and fulsome feedback helped me to see those poems in new ways as well. A delight.
Kelsey A.
Personally, I enjoyed the option to share my poems during the challenge. It kept me motivated to come back each day, or to go back to a previous day if I missed it.
MATT K.
Hannah has championed the work of all of us in the LPC. I try again, I experiment more, I broaden the scope of my work, I form my pieces differently. I do better.
SHEILA L.

Meet the course creator

Hannah (H. C. Phillips, Zeit & Geist Editing)

After years of writing, I've come to appreciate more and more the company of other writers. Not only do I tend to write more consistently and with clearer goals, but the time spent is enriched by shared achievement. This is why I now devote time to working with fellow writers to help them create space for their own writing life. In my own writing, I explore poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and even the occasional screenplay. Come write with me in a writing challenge.
